Fiona Parfrey from Blackrock first delighted adventurers with her sustainable recycled plastic backpacks, which launched via her company Sundrift last year.

Now the globetrotting designer is about to launch a new eco-friendly Changing Robe aimed at Ireland’s many all-weather swimmers.

Dry robes and changing robes have become a must-have beach accessory in the past 12 months and with staycations high on the agenda once again this summer, it’s looking like they’ll be popular again for 2021.

Fiona’s Sundrift robes (€159 with free shipping) come in four colours, all made from certified recycled plastic.

They’re waterproof on the outside and super cosy on the inside, meaning you’ll always be guaranteed an instant way to warm up after your swim, even if it’s pouring rain. The fleece-lined hood will help protect your ears from the biting sea breeze too.
