Soak away your worries in a seaweed bath with a view of Bantry Bay this weekend

This is living.
If the long weekend has left you with stiff shoulders and a creaky back, there’s an innovative way to gently ease those aches and pains away this weekend.
Hop in the car and head for West Cork where Wild Atlantic Seaweed Baths will be setting up their heavenly steaming whiskey barrel hot tubs at Snave Pier, Ballylickey, Bantry Bay right up to Monday.
Used in Ireland for centuries, seaweed baths are famously good for easing aches and pains, leaving skin feeling soft and clean. Fans claim they sleep better after a seaweed bath too. Wild Atlantic Seaweed Baths use locally and sustainably hand-harvested seaweed and every bath is emptied, scrubbed and cleaned before the next person immerses themselves.
Prices start at €50 for one person using a bath for 60 minutes (bring your swimming togs, a towel and drinking water). Children under the age of 16 years old are free with a parent or guardian using the baths but must be supervised at all times.
