Running the Marathon? This is where you can get free dessert and a pint afterwards
If ever there was a time to enjoy a calorific treat, it’s right after a 26 mile run.
WOWBURGER, home of juicy burgers, golden fries and free toppings, will be offering a free Sundae or Shake to any brave soldier that completes the Cork Marathon on Sunday.
Just pop in for your post-race meal and dessert is on the house.
Upstairs on South Main Street, Captain Americas Cookhouse & Bar is offering 20 percent off main menu dishes for any anyone that completes the Cork Marathon – just show them your medal to get the discount.
Meanwhile, over in Cork’s Victorian Quarter, the Shelbourne is inviting weary runners to toast their achievement with a free pint.
