Parents are delighted with this country coffee trailer’s new toddler play area
If there’s one thing toddlers enjoy, it’s waking before dawn.
And if you’re on the hunt for a spot where they can burn off some energy while you enjoy a much-needed coffee, pack everyone into the car and head west at the weekend.
The Haggart Cafe is now open every Saturday and Sunday from 8am to 12pm at Mountain Forge Escape in Ardfield, Clonakilty.
The popular campsite, located in a picturesque village between Clonakilty and Rosscarbery, overlooking the Galley Head lighthouse, has extended its offering to include a covered children’s play area where little ones can run wild in safety behind a nice firm wooden gate.

You can sip a latte or an iced coffee and scoff a cake or a scone in peace while your kids play with the toys – sounds the the perfect morning to us.
Dogs are welcome too once they’re on a lead so it’s the perfect stop if you’re heading for a stroll on the beach at Red Strand or Inchydoney afterwards.
