Now you can use a Starbucks loo without purchasing anything

Starbucks cafes will now allow all visitors to use their bathrooms, even if they have not purchased anything.
The decision was made in response to the uproar caused by an incident in Philadelphia in April, which saw two men arrested at a Starbucks cafe… for asking to use the loo.
Two men, Donte Robinson and Rashon Nelson, both 23, were waiting on a friend in Starbucks when one of them asked if he could use the bathroom.
When management refused him the key and he complained, the store manager called the police.
Onlookers watched in disbelief as the two men were arrested at the scene.
The charge? ‘Trespassing’.
Now that the fury has died down (reports suggest both men received settlements of more than one million dollars each), Starbucks has put its employees through racial bias training and is now introducing new measures to ensure nobody is ever discriminated in one of its stores again.
‘We don’t want to become a public bathroom, ‘ said Starbucks executive chairman Howard Schultz.
‘… but we’re going to make the right decision 100% of the time and give people the key,’
Handy to know if you’re spending a day in town… and drinking more than one Venti Cold Brews.
