Now that Halloween is over, the entire family can start looking forward to Christmas… and that includes the furriest members of your clan.

While us humans are busy treating ourselves to luxurious beauty calendars and Advent countdown treats that involve lots of delicious wine, now there’s an option to spoil your pet too.

Aldi has launched an Advent Calendar for Dogs – an excuse for good boys and girls to get a special treat every day in the run-up to Christmas.

At just €3.99, it includes 24 individually wrapped chicken and duck flavoured treats.

And don’t panic if you’re a cat person, there’s a feline version available too and it’s stuffed with salmon-flavoured treats for €2.99.

Both calendars hit Aldi stores this Sunday, November 4th so don’t forget to pop them in your trolley with the groceries.

We know we’ll enjoy opening the doors on these almost as much as Rover and Fluffy will.
