Round up the girls; The Everyman is screening the best 80’s movie

Had a long week at work?
Sometimes a girls night out is the best remedy. This year, Cork Film Festival 2018 has the best excuse to get the gang back together.
The Biggest Girls Night Out in Cork takes place on Friday, November 16th with a special screening of the iconic, 80s revenge comedy, 9 to 5 in The Everyman.
In case you’re unfamiliar with the plot, Lily Tomlin, Jane Fonda and Dolly Parton star as three, long-suffering female employees of the ‘biggest, egotistical, lying, hypocritical bigot’ boss on the planet.
When a freak accident allows them to finally take over, the women decide to run the company on their own terms, introducing day-care, flexible working hours and equal pay.
What could possibly go wrong?
Booking is now open for the screening here and tickets are €10.
Fancy making a night of it? Bring your ticket to The Bridge Bar on Bridge Street afterwards for 20% off your drinks.
If you can’t get into town for the 9pm show on November 16th, you can also catch 9-5 in the Gate Cinemas Midleton and Mallow on Wednesday, November 14th at 6:30pm.
