Now there’s a t-shirt celebrating Ronan O’Gara’s Cork franglish

Cork and French are the sexiest accents.
And now a glorious new mix of the two has taken the internet by storm.
Corkman, former Irish fly-half come coach to the French club La Rochelle Ronan O’Gara sparked amusement, memes, and mischief on social media this week when footage from his half-time pep talk hit our newsfeeds.
“Je m’en fucking fous d’adversaire”, O’Gara shouted, with a thick layer of his hometown coated on every syllable, roughly translated as “I don’t give a f**king damn about the opposition”. Were they hungry for the win, he challenged, or just there for a “f**king … vacance”?
Definitely worth a watch, Ronan O’Gara giving the most Irish team talk while actually speaking French. #rugby pic.twitter.com/TcVJ5i73FJ

O’Gara delivered iconic one-liner after one-liner, in a bizarre and beautiful mix of the French and Cork language throughout the 42-second video, but it was “L’opportunité est f**king énorme” which stood out the most and sparked the creation of this tee by Irish company Hairy Baby Tees.

The viral video has since been featured on several news outlets internationally including the Guardian and CNN.
As Tommy Tiernan once said, “the English language is like a brick wall between me and you and “f*ck” is my chisel”.
