Now you can take a yoga class at The Kino

Looking for a new city yoga class?
An affordable new pop-in concept just launched on Washington Street.
Yogis Helena and Gillian of Yoga Collective had a vision to provide authentic yoga classes in the city centre, finding the perfect venue within the newly refurbished Kino Theatre.
Newly renovated by brothers Philip and Rory O’Connor, the former cinema has been transformed into a creative space for classes, gigs, movie screenings and meet-ups. The pair have also launched their second café at the venue (they also run Doppio on College Road).
The first classes take place on Monday (6.30pm-7.45pm with Helena) and Thursday (6.30pm to 7.45pm) with Gillian.
The best bit? What you pay is up to you.
“For these classes we are offering a sliding scale €5-€15 where you choose what you pay based on your financial situation.” say the duo.
“It is our hearts’ desire to have community based yoga available to everybody within our lovely city.”
If you have ever been curious about yoga this is your opportunity to get on the mat and try it for yourself.
