Need some ‘me’ time? This Galway retreat promises total solitude

Christmas can be tough going for an introvert.
While spending time with family and friends is par for the course over the holidays, come January, you might be craving some time to yourself.
That’s where Be Well comes in.
An Unplugged Solitude Retreat located on an eco farm in Galway, Be Well offers three, five or seven-night stay-over options from €50 per night.
You can choose the Total Recluse package with no contact with others for the duration of your stay (a daily ‘moving the stone’ ritual is a safety signal to your facilitators) or the Solitude, with limited one-to-one contact.
Guests settle in to a cosy, secluded bell tent equipped with futon bed, sheepskins, stove, carpeted floor and kettle. There’s no electricity but there is a fire pit and natural spring well in your camp site for your water supply.
If you’re looking for a physical as well as a digital detox, you can arrange for juices, smoothies, herbal teas and spring water as well as healthy, vegetarian or vegan farm food to enjoy during your stay.
Guests are encourage to bring a journal, acoustic instruments or art materials and yoga, meditation, nature therapy guided walks, campfire storytelling and stargazing, massage, acupuncture and sound therapy are also available at the retreat.
