Met Éireann says we can expect some ‘very mild’ weather in Cork on Tuesday

It’ll be ideal for a romantic walk.
Met Éireann says we can expect ‘very mild’ weather on Valentine’s Day, February 14th, with bright, sunny conditions making things easy for the postman.
While it will be cloudy and blustery with a few scattered outbreaks of rain in the morning, things will improve by lunchtime:
“Becoming drier in the afternoon with occasional bright or sunny spells developing.” said a forecaster.
“Very mild with highest temperatures of 11 to 14 degrees in fresh and gusty southerly winds.”
Beyond Tuesday it’s looking relatively unsettled for the rest of the week, with sunny spells and scattered showers through much of Wednesday, when clouds will thicken in the south and west later in the afternoon with rain extending from the southwest through the evening.

Highest temperatures will remain between eight and 11 degrees.
Heavy rain is forecast on Wednesday night, with cloud and further outbreaks of rain likely on Thursday.
More settled conditions on the way
There’s better news to round out the week; Friday morning will be mostly dry, bright, and sunny, becoming cloudier though through the afternoon, with highest temperatures of 10 to 13 degrees.
“Currently there is better agreement for more settled conditions developing again for the weekend and early days of next week.” added the forecasters.
