Lads, it’s not great news.
As we all wait patiently until we can bust out the suncream and set up the barbecue, Met Éireann has put the kibosh on our summer plans once again with the forecast for the next 24 hours.
It will be mostly cloudy today with outbreaks of rain, although there will be “some drier spells at times, especially towards the south coast into the afternoon”.
According to forecasters, this evening will be “fairly humid with mist on coasts and hills and highest temperatures of 15 to 17, possibly 18 degrees in any sunny intervals.”
It will be mostly cloudy and misty overnight with outbreaks of rain and drizzle and minimum temperatures of 11 to 14 degrees.
See below the latest rainfall and cloud forecast from our HARMONIE weather model. Further outbreaks of rain pushing in from the Atlantic today. Any lingering rain will clear tomorrow morning, with some scattered showers later on.
