Met Éireann says it’ll be ‘mainly dry and sunny’ in Cork for the next few days

You can’t beat a bit of sun to boost the mood.
And it looks like we’re in for a few days of pleasant spring weather to round out the week in Cork, with Met Éireann confirming that the grey skies are gonna’ clear up.
While today will be rather cloudy with sunny spells improving later in the day, it will be “mainly dry with the chance of an isolated shower” and highest temperatures of 12 or 13 degrees.
Listen; it’s no heatwave but you can definitely get a wash out on the line.
There’ll be a few showers tonight affecting Cork and Kerry, with lowest temperatures of 2 to 5 degrees after dark, but Thursday will dawn “dry and sunny” and we can expect mild conditions of around 11 or 12 degrees.
According to the latest predictions, it will be “mainly dry and sunny to begin on Friday” although cloud will increase through the morning with patchy outbreaks of rain and drizzle developing through the afternoon and evening over the southern half of the country.
Highest temperatures will be in and around 13 or 14 degrees.
Forecasters say the weekend will be showery, with temperatures turning colder on Sunday: “Current indications suggest a cold but mainly dry situation for the start of next week with rain arriving from the west midweek.” they added.
