In the meantime, we can expect a cold day with highs of just 3 to 6 degrees, “cold enough for the rain to fall as sleet over high ground.”
It will be a wet and windy start to Wednesday, clearing to sunny spells through the afternoon.
There’s better news from Thursday on when it will be “mostly dry up to and including Christmas Day, then very unsettled on St. Stephen’s Day. Turning colder with wintry showers on Sunday.”
