Meet Rocky, the bossy Jack Russell who loves women and hates rules

Looking for some company at home for a few weeks?
Cork Dog Action Welfare has issued an appeal for a foster carer to take in one of their more spirited abandoned dogs, but you’ll need to be comfortable with laying down the law.
Rocky the Jack Russell isn’t even two years old yet, but he’s had a lot of upheaval in his short life.
Described by the DAWG staff as a “bolshy typical terrier who wants to rule the roost” Rocky is looking for an experienced adult-only foster home or forever home where he will learn some manners.
Oh… and he’s a bit of a womaniser too.
“He needs continuous training and reminders that no, he isn’t the boss.” said a spokesperson for DAWG.
“We would love him settled in a home with someone who understands the breed. He needs to be the only dog in the home. Rocky loves women more so than men as he seems to trust them faster. All in all, he does need experience, plenty of walks and lots of love.”
The good news is that the lucky person who welcomes Rocky into their home is guaranteed a lot of laughs and a loyal pal for life.
“Rocky is very clever and learns fast. Once he has proper guidance and rules he will do just great.”
