Every cloud has one, apparently.
Now the organisers of a new Cork arts festival have issued a call out for members of the public to share their stories about silver linings as part of a fascinating storytelling project.
This May, students at University College Cork in the MA in Arts Management and Creative Producing program are producing a virtual arts festival called Out of Orbit.
As part of the festival, Stories from Cork will celebrate true-life situations where things were looking dodgy, but everything turned out alright in the end – just the kind of uplifting content we all need in our lives right now.
“Stories from Cork will feature stories about silver linings and humour from the lives of Cork community members.” Elizabeth Black told Yay Cork.
“These stories will be submitted via WhatsApp voice memos and email, and will be available to view and listen to on the festival website from May 13th to 16th.”
Maybe you missed your bus but met the love of your life, or lost your keys and found €50?
Taking part is easy, simply send a story from your life via a WhatsApp voice memo (085-286-4987) or email ([email protected]) and fill out a submission form (available here) before April 21st. You can even remain anonymous if you wish.
