Craving a holiday somewhere exotic?

Yeah, us too, but in the meantime we’ll be heading for Cork’s Marina this weekend for a Flavourful Journey to India with Rebel City Distillery.

This Saturday, August 26th, the Centre Park Road venue is opening its doors to guests seeking an immersive experience led by founder and creator of Cork’s own Maharani Gin, Bhagya Barrett, who has put together an evening of new flavours, fashion, and dance, kicking off at 5.30pm.

Attendees will be treated to a welcome gin and tonic on arrival followed by a guided distillery tour, a complementary bespoke cocktail inspired by India’s diverse flavours, and a lesson in saree draping and an opportunity to try one on at a Sassy Saree Party.

The evening will culminate in a vibrant dance session set to Indian rhythms.

“This is more than an event – it’s a celebration of life, love, and the beauty of shared experiences,” they told us.
