We’re at our most creative after a tipple or two.

If you’re the same, an upcoming online adults-only art class could be a fun way to pass an evening… and you might even end up with a masterpiece to hang on the wall.

Drink & Draw is inviting beginners and experienced artistes alike to join them on Zoom and create a Van Gogh-themed ‘Starry Night Over Cork’ in April.

“We will be using some of the Cork’s most iconic buildings as inspiration for the landscape,” say the organisers, Alternative Dublin.

“We will be painting it live with our instructor hosting the event, step-by-step. Participants are highly encouraged to create their own ‘spin’ on the painting with a prize for most creative.”

Sounds like good craic – especially if you team it with a cocktail. All events are free (donations are welcome) and there are a limited number of tickets available per event (get yours here).

All you need to join in is a canvas or some paper and your paints and paintbrushes.
