Join a guided art and photography walk along the banks of the River Lee

It winds its way through every part of the city.
And now Cork creative types are invited to explore the River Lee up close with a guided tour of its banks on Saturday, June 11th, 2022.
As part of the Cork Harbour Festival, the Glucksman art museum in UCC is hosting a Creative River Walk from noon until 1.30pm.
Led by a professional artist, participants will learn basic drawing and photography techniques. It could also provide the ideal opportunity to scope out a spot for a little solo painting or sketching in the future.
“We’ll be exploring and documenting the plants and animals that live along both the south and north channels.” explain the organisers.
“This unique walk will wind its way from the University down to the Dockland area taking in greenways, bridges, and riverbanks.”
Tickets for this unique tour of city waterways are €5.85 and can be booked here.
