A Buddhist nun is inviting Cork folk from all walks of life to join her in a city park for a spot of alfresco meditation.

Kelsang Drolma will lead the open group mediation on Sunday, July 3rd from 11.30pm to 12.10pm in Fitzgerald’s Park.

Described as “a wonderful opportunity to meet up with others and meditate together”, the session will combine guided meditation with a ‘thought for the day’ on practical methods of how to stay happy and positive through the challenges of modern life.

“These meditations will nurture the best in you, promoting an increased sense of well-being, inner peace, and clarity of mind,” says Drolma.
