Iyer’s Café is opening one more time and donating ALL the day’s proceeds to charity

This is going out on a positive note.
One of Cork’s best veggie spots, the southern Indian street food restaurant Iyer’s is closing down its Pope’s Quay kitchen after ten years in business, but they’ve got one more treat in store first.
The family-run restaurant is opening its doors for one more day and donating the proceeds to an excellent local cause.
On July 22nd, the award-winning spot, once listed on Eater’s ‘Where to Eat Around the World’ list, will be open as the Iyer’s crew cook for the people of Cork and donate all proceeds to the Sexual Violence Centre.
Posting on social media to announce the lovely gesture, the team said they are “delighted and honoured to be doing this as the last thing for Iyer’s.”
