This magical Boho Picnic and Sound Bath is happening in a secret city garden

Cork is full of secret gardens.
And every now and then, a little gate in a wall of ivy will creak open to welcome the public in to enjoy a lush city oasis for one extraordinary evening.
Up in St Luke’s, the Community Garden is less of a secret and more of a local obsession, but an upcoming event they’ve got planned will be magical nonetheless.
A Garden Dream – Bees, Bohemian Picnic and Sound Bath will take place in a hidden oasis in the heart of St. Luke’s on Saturday, August 19th from 4pm until 8pm.
“For this year’s Cork on a Fork foodie festival, you can feed your mind, body, and soul at this unique evening at St. Luke’s Community Garden.” say the organisers.

First, beekeeper Kate Manning will lead a honey tasting, including infusions and medicinal honeys, and chat about pollination, bees, and their role in human health. You’ll also learn about apitherapy as a way to destress and calm the nervous system.
Next everybody will enjoy a Boho Picnic with food by veggie retreat and festival chef Rosie Healy, aka The Kitchen Fairy, before a Sound Bath with Naoise from Golden Space.
Supported by CETB REACH Fund 2023, the event is free but capacity is very limited so book your spot now here.
If you want to get involved in St Luke’s Community Garden, they host a clean-up at 11am on the first Sunday of every month and a Tea ‘n’ Chat on the third Saturday of the month at 11am.
