Hit this new Cork container pizza spot for a €1 slice on Wednesday
Craving a little Hump Day treat?
One of Cork’s newest pizza joints is enticing local foodies to come and try out their delicious pies in Cobh by offering a delicious slice for a bargain €1.
The Boatyard container market in Cobh has relaunched with five brand new businesses, including Roberto’s Pizza.
Run by Boatyard owner and Cobh local Rob Coughlan and Sarah O’Driscoil, the pizza joint promises to bring “a little piece of Italy to The Boatyard with their pizza napoletana made with the freshest local ingredients”.
The €1 promotion will run on Wednesday, July 19th, 2023 from 12.30pm until 6.30pm (or until the pizza runs out).

The Boatyard is now home to eight independent businesses including six food outlets, Samisa Beauty, which is a beauty salon chair rental business, and Jake and Barbra Stahlecker’s Black Poppy Tattoo studio.
“Our first year in business has been a rollercoaster and we are now looking forward to moving onwards and upwards with the addition of our five new containers,” said Rob.
“The Boatyard brings something fresh to Cobh, where friends and family can relax, socialise and enjoy some top-quality food in an ideal waterside location. We have listened to our customers’ feedback and are delighted to be offering three new food options as well as our exciting new concept beauty and tattoo containers.”
