It’s happening: Krispy Kreme is coming to Cork (and they’re opening on St Patrick St)

Goodness glaze-ious tonight.
Iconic donut brand Krispy Kreme is opening a Cork shop, right in the centre of town.
Established in North Carolina in the US in 1937, the Irish branch of the business is expanding outside Dublin for the opening of its next two outlets, one in Cork and another in Galway.
The Cork shop will be located on Patrick Street and is expected to open in April, creating almost 30 additional jobs including shop staff, delivery drivers and production staff.

“We are delighted to now bring the Krispy Kreme experience to the people of Galway and Cork this Spring.”
The new shops will serve the full range of hand-crafted Krispy Kreme doughnuts, including the much-loved melt in the mouth Original Glazed and firm Irish favourites Cookies and Kreme, Lotus Biscoff, and Nutty Chocolatta.
