It’s the perfect healthy fast food fix.

And if you’re in town and on the hunt for a falafel this week, Umi Falafel on Academy Street is pulling out all the stops to make sure your kids become falafel fans too.

Umi’s new Kids Menu features mini versions of all the grown-up favourites, as well as that ultimate kid favourite; hummus.

“This meal includes four tasty falafel bites, your choice of mini plain wedges or mini salad, and a side of creamy hummus dip, plus a refreshing bottle of water to keep them hydrated.” the Umi crew announced on Instagram.

“For a special treat, you can upgrade their drink to a @sisu.ie cold pressed juice.”

They’re also doing a Cauliflower Pita Sandwich that deserves your attention; a pocket full of cauliflower fritters, vine tomato, fresh cucumber, pickled red onions, flat parsley topped with tahini sauce, it’s completely vegan and entirely delicious.

The Cork shop is open seven days a week from 11am to 9pm.
