HSE provides details for five Cork walk-in vaccination centres

No appointment needed if you want to get your first dose.
The HSE has published details regarding vaccination centres that are now providing vaccinations to those without an appointment. The programme only applies to those who are getting their first jab, so you can’t get your top-up via walk-in.
Páirc Uí Chaoimh was originally set to serve as Cork’s main walk-in centre, but this will not now go ahead this weekend.
Other sites will offer walk-in vaccinations for just one day for the time being.
City Hall will offer a walk-in service on:
- Sunday 1 August, 1pm to 4pm
The Melbourne Building at Munster Technological University Campus will have walk-ins at:
- Monday 2 August, 10am to 4pm
Clonakilty GAA Club:
- Saturday 31 July, 11am to 3pm
Bantry Primary Care Centre:
- Sunday 1 August, 11am to 3pm
The walk-in centres form part of Ireland’s ramping up of its vaccine rollout programme. Yesterday, the online portal invited 16 and 17-year-olds to register for their first shot, and just under 70% of the adult population is now fully vaccinated.
If you’re living somewhere else in Ireland, you can find the full list of walk-in centres here.
