Here’s what to expect from the weather this weekend

In a word: mild.
The latest regional forecast for Munster indicates that we’ll be getting a break from frosty, zero temperature nights for the next few days.
Friday is set to be a very typical November day, drizzly and cloudy with temperatures of around 10 to 12 degrees. The drizzle will be most noticeable in the western half of the county.
The low temperatures we had earlier in the week are gone, thankfully, with nighttime temperatures of 6 to 9 degrees on the horizon.
Tomorrow is set to be a windy day, and “a band of rain will extend across the region during the morning and afternoon. Drier clearer conditions and a few showers will follow from the northwest through the evening.” Once again, temperatures will be a mild 12 to 14 degrees.
Sunday will probably be the best day of the lot, with Met Éireann forecasting sunny spells and only the odd coastal shower, though temperatures will be a cool 10 to 12 degrees.
Patterns of brief rain followed by dry, bright periods are expected to continue into Monday and Tuesday or next week, though it’s worth noting that the frost and bitterly low temperatures will return on Wednesday night.
