Here’s the teaser for Graham Norton’s West Cork murder mystery TV show ‘Holding’

This is a big moment for Cork.
Besides the Olympics, it’s not every day we get to hear the sweet lilt of a Cork accent on TV.
We’re well used to watching stories from Dublin, the mid-lands or even Kerry, yet tales from the Rebel County have been few and far between. But that’s all about to change.
Britain’s ITV has dropped the first teaser for their new West Cork murder-mystery series Holding, which is based on the best-selling novel by Bandon native Graham Norton.
The four-part TV series is set in the fictional village of Duneen and centres around the mysterious murder of local man, Tommy Burke. Garda Sergeant PJ Collins (Conleth Hill) is tasked with finding the culprits who killed him, in a community he has long avoided.
We follow the Sergeant as he puts the pieces of the puzzle together and questions likely suspects- including Tommy’s former love interests Bríd (played by Cork woman Siobhán McSweeney) and Evelyn (Peaky Blinder’s Charlene McKenna).
Graham Norton took to Twitter to express his delight at seeing the new trailer:
Well, this is a moment – my little book all grown up!! https://t.co/HmTVV4KQCN

If you frequented West Cork last year you might have noticed the various production trucks hopping from location to location.
Filming of the new show took place in Castletownsend and Drimoleague and scenes were also shot in the former Christian retreat centre, Myross Wood, so there’ll be plenty of lush West Cork scenery for you to feast your eyes on.
Because of the massive local casting call for extras, you’re also sure to see some very familiar faces on your TV screen this March.
