Here’s where you can catch a cinema screening of Die Hard

There is savage debate online over whether it actually qualifies as a Christmas movie at all, but a Cork cinema is screening the classic film Die Hard as part of its fun festive line-up.
Omniplex Cinemas #BringItBack retro Christmas series continues with some Christmas Eve calamity in John McTiernan’s classic action thriller on Monday.
Despite the fact that a recent YouGov poll put the film firmly in the ‘Not Christmas’ box (only a paltry 31 percent of people polled said they consider films set at Christmas, but not specifically about Christmas, Christmas movies) you can catch the cult 1988 flick in Mahon Point at 7:30pm on December 11th.
Later this month a less controversial Kevin McCallister outwits two conmen to protect his family home in Home Alone on December 18th, while Goodfellas, regarded as one of the greatest mob films of all time, makes a comeback in a special event on Wednesday, December 27th.
