Here are four of the crafty Christmas markets kicking off this weekend

‘Tis finally the season.
Whether you’re looking for the perfect present or are just tagging along to browse, there are a ton of festive events on the go right now in Cork.
We’ve rounded up four crafty Christmas markets happening this weekend to help you get into the festive spirit.
1. Glounthaune Christmas Craft Fair
Stop by the Glounthaune Community Centre this Saturday, December 3rd, and have a wander around the Christmas Craft Fair. On the day, you can look forward to a fantastically festive atmosphere in a heated marquee, with live music, food, and drink, and some brilliant spot prizes up for grabs.
Aside from being a fun day out, craft markets like these are also a great opportunity to shop locally and sustainably, so you can (imagine this) feel good about your purchases.
The Craft Fair begins at 11 am and will run until 5 pm, plenty of time to grab some goodies from Cork’s finest crafters at over twenty stalls. Entry to the fair is free but do bring cash – you won’t want to miss out on the raffle taking place on the day. All proceeds are being split between Cork Simon and the Community Association for repair works on the Community Centre.

2. The Art & Craft Christmas Market at Camus Farm, Ardfield
There’s nothing better than a Sunday spin, and this Sunday, December 4th, you can head towards West Cork for a wildly wholesome day trip to the Art & Craft Christmas Market at Camus Farm.
Located just outside Clon, Camus Farm is a 30-acre organic farm comprising of meadows, woodland, and barns dating back to 1850, and we can’t imagine a better backdrop for wandering around with a warm mulled wine or hot port and taking in all of the handmade delights.
Offerings at the market will cover everything from ceramics, handcrafted baby clothes, jewellery to candles, leatherworks, textiles, and more, so you’re bound to find the perfect gifts for your loved ones (and maybe yourself too). Hot food will be available, along with craft beers, tea, and coffee, so plan to spend a few hours. It kicks off at 12 noon and runs until 6 pm.
