We are also big fans of gin, so imagine our excitement when we first received news of this dreamy event: Electric on the South Mall is hosting a Gin Tasting Afternoon Tea.

Yes; you are reading that correctly; not only will there be lashings of lovely gin to wash down your dainty afternoon tea treats, there’ll also be a variety of different gins to sample!

It’s the perfect chance to let your hair down with friends or family and taste some new blends to add to your cocktail cabinet.

The best bit? The event is in aid of Dress for Success Cork, so every ticket you buy will go towards reducing unemployment in Cork – one woman at a time.

The Gin Tasting Afternoon Tea at Electric takes place on Saturday, July 28th from 3pm to 5pm. Tickets are €26.83 per person here and places are limited so make sure you get yours in plenty of time.
