Rebel City Distillery has just launched a brand new monthly Gin and Cheese Tasting Experience, taking place on the first Wednesday of every month at its docklands home—and honestly, this is exactly the kind of wholesome chaos we can get behind.

The idea is simple: great gin, great food, and a chilled-out atmosphere that makes a random Wednesday feel like an occasion, all happening at their cool HQ in the Marina Commercial Park, Centre Park Road.

“Cork has such an incredible food scene, and we wanted to create something that feels premium but approachable an experience people can enjoy with friends on a weeknight,” said Bhagya Barrett, Co Founder of Rebel City Distillery.

The team will be pairing their signature Maharani Gin with a handpicked lineup of artisan local cheeses, plus Spanish gildas (those iconic skewers of olives, anchovies and pickled peppers) and other tasty bites designed to bring out the best in every sip.

It’s being pitched as a relaxed, no-pressure kind of evening—perfect whether you’re a full-on gin nerd or just someone who likes the sound of cheese and a catch-up with friends. No fancy jargon, no intimidating vibes—just really good flavours and a chance to try something a bit different.
