Fota’s Plant Fair has been postponed until next week due to the dodgy weather

The weather is wreaking havoc on our spring plans.
And down at Fota House, some last-minute changes have been made ahead of the planned Plant Fair this weekend.
The fair has been postponed until Sunday, April 21st, due to the dodgy forecast.
The good news is that the event will go ahead Fota House, Arboretum & Gardens in Carrigtwohill next week from 11am to 4pm and with any luck, you won’t need a brolly.

A haven for plant lovers, numerous specialist nurseries from around the country will be in attendance providing visitors with the opportunity to purchase unusual and special plants, including rare trees, shrubs, alpine, herbaceous and water plants, at competitive prices.
For those who want to learn more. plant specialists are on hand to answer all burning questions, free of charge.
This year sees the introduction of a vibrant selection of craft stalls showcasing the talents of local artists and artisans. Retailers will also be on-site providing garden furniture, charming pots, decorative sculptures and essential tools to spruce up any garden. Food stalls will be making a return, to keep the energy up, whilst browsing the fair.
Our annual Plant & Craft Fair will now be happening on Sunday 21st of April – 11am-4pm. We really look forward to seeing you all there! Thank you for your understanding. #plantfair #craftfair #eastcork #specialistnurseries #gardens #arboretum #fotahouseandgardens pic.twitter.com/MZwQOvXSTp
