Cork’s newest club night starts at 6pm and ONLY admits people aged over 30

Too tired to hit the club at 11pm on a Friday?
Yeah, we hear you.
But if you can’t shake the FOMO of putting your dancing days behind you in favour of early nights (and rising at the crack of dawn with a smallie) one Cork venue has just the solution.
Move over, youngsters, there’s a new dance party in town, and it ain’t for the crop-top and hipster mullet crowd.
Eoin Ahern and DJ Rowan Meegan have launched Club 30, a new evening club event for over 30s in Cork, promising “music from decades you can dance to”, the 80s, 90s, and Noughties.
The first one happens on Saturday, May 4th at Cyprus Avenue on Caroline Street… and tickets (€10) are already selling like hotcakes.
The event, which runs from 6pm to 10pm, is targeted at older people, parents of young kids and clubbers who are “just too tired and too old to stay out late”.

Clubbers can gain entry by simply being over the age of 30 or holding an Xtra Vision membership card.
Forget the sticky floors and questionable cocktails of your early twenties; this daytime disco promises a fun space to catch up with friends, enjoy some delicious drinks and maybe even bust a move (without worrying about throwing out your back).
Fancy a day on the tiles? Book the babysitter and get your tickets (€10) locked down here.
