Feeling a bit ‘meh’ lately?
It’s been a stressy few months and with foreign holidays and nights out still out of reach for the time being, it’s never been more important to find a way to blow off some steam.
If you could do with an extra dose of focus and mental clarity as we venture into the new normal, two Cork yogis have put together a relaxing Monday self-care session that’s guaranteed to put you on the right track for the week.
Valerie Murphy and Katie Hennessy have joined forces to host an online Element of Fire Yoga and Personal Development Workshop on Monday, June 29th at 7pm. The evening, held in the comfort of your own home via Zoom (€20 per person, booking via DM here) begins with a Vinyasa Yoga practice to stimulate detox in the body, working with the Manipura chakra (solar plexus).

“This will be a twisty core-focused flow suitable for beginners, beginning with meditation and breathwork, ending with deep relaxation,” says Val.
Once everybody is feeling relaxed and zen, the hosts will lead a meditation to help participants direct energy into achieving their goals.
“All of this begins with focus and intention and that’s exactly what we will spend our time doing in this workshop. Let’s get clear on how you want to spend your days and week and start making a plan to make it a reality. We will also explore the magical world of manifestation with simple strategies to help you begin your own manifestation journey.” says Val.

To finish the workshop, each participant will receive an individual personalised affirmation and Val and Katie will pull everyone an angel card to help everyone connect with their inner guide and intuition.
