Fancy doing yoga on the lawn of Bantry House this summer?

Well this is going to be just idyllic.
Bantry House and Garden is one of the most picturesque stately homes in the south west of Ireland and for one morning only, yogis are invited to do their sun salutations on its lawn, overlooking Bantry Bay.
Yoga teacher Maeve Murphy, who has undertaken workshops and retreats at home and abroad in India, Bali and Greece, will lead the 75-minute class on Saturday, July 14th.
Suitable for all levels of yoga experience (minimum age 15), the event is part of the West Cork Literary Festival, which runs throughout that week.
There’s no booking necessary, just arrive wearing comfortable clothes, bring a yoga mat and pay the teacher on the day.
A back-up plan is in place if the weather isn’t great so the Festival’s social media the day before for updates.
We can’t think of a more heavenly way to start the weekend.
