Em, there’s a new Beamish COOKIE available in Cork and we are absolutely all about it.

Make room in the goodies cupboard.
One of Cork’s best cookie bakers has unveiled a mouthwatering new selection of nostalgic Cork flavours for Christmas… and if you’re missing home right now, they might bring a tear to your eye.
The brainchild of award-winning Ballymaloe graduate, Sarah Cremin, Good Fortune Cookies’ small-batch bakes are now available in three flavours synonymous with Cork for the festive season… Beamish, Barry’s Tea and Hadji Bey.
Oh and you can ship them to cookie connoisseurs countrywide.
Inspired by her city’s famous landmarks and tales of the treats her great-grandmother enjoyed on Leeside when she was a child, Sarah’s range of ‘Corkies’ include:
Beamish Cookies
The perfect treat for a Creamy Beamie fan, Sarah has captured the roasted nutty toffee sweetness and dark chocolate notes of the most flavoursome of Irish stouts, Beamish, in a cookie that combines Cork’s famous full-bodied pint with premium Valrhona cocoa powder.
Hadji Bey Rose Cookies
Over a century since establishing a shop on MacCurtain Street, Hadji Bey’s delectably exotic Turkish delight continues to be a Cork obsession, so much so that Sarah has decided to create an homage to it. Her Hadji Bey rose-scented and cardamom-spiced cookie is studded with chunks of the traditional Cork confectionery.
Barry’s Tea Shortbread
When it comes to Cork, there is nothing more iconic than Barry’s Tea. Sarah has captured the essence of one of the nation’s favourite brews in a decadent Barry’s Tea-infused all-butter shortbread that makes for an ideal elevenses.
“Expanding outside of Cork has been a real milestone for us and what better way to celebrate our nationwide delivery than with some iconic Cork flavours from three brands that have truly stood the test of time,” Sarah told us.
“The Hadji Bey shortbread is a really nostalgic one for me as it pays tribute to my great-grandmother, Priscilla, who adored their decadent Turkish delight. From the good old reliable chocolate chip to spiced oat and pecan, we have something for every cookie lover, and we’re really looking forward to spreading some joy this festive season.”
