Well this is the icing on the cake.

If you plan on eating your feelings on the sofa this Valentine’s Day, Deliveroo have got you covered; and they’ll even throw in dessert for free.

From Wednesday, February 14th to Friday, February 16th, customers who order a main dish from participating restaurants can get a free treat to enjoy afterwards, what’s not to love?

Joe Groves at Deliveroo says: “Flowers and food are what come to mind when we think of Valentine’s Day, especially something sweet. That’s why we wanted to reward our customers with a sweet treat to celebrate, whether taken or single.”

Deliveroo will deliver dinner and a cheeky dessert from participating restaurants across Cork, Dublin and Galway.

The Cork eateries taking part are:

Drakes Bistro and Wine Bar on Academy Street: Chocolate Brownie dessert every with Beef Stroganoff main course ordered.

Four Liars Bistro, Shandon: Any dessert with any main course ordered.

Thali, Pope’s Quay: Free rice pudding or chocolate cake with every Kukhura Ko Masu (traditional chicken curry) or Jomsom Bhedo (lamb curry) ordered.

The best bit? Being single means you don’t have to share.
