‘Daddas and Babas’ Yoga could be your new monthly dad ritual

Listen up, lads.
Local classes and workshops can be daunting for dads, but a clever new monthly concept is opening up sessions in Yoga and baby massage to curious fathers.
On Saturday, November 22nd, the Bishopstown GAA Club is flipping its usual weekend vibe from sports to stretching and bonding, with Dad’s Day — a brand-new wellness experience designed just for modern dads and their mini sidekicks.
First up at 11:15am is Daddas & Babas Yoga, a 60-minute session blending grounding movement, gentle stretching, deep relaxation… and yes, plenty of adorable cuddle breaks.
Babies aged six weeks to crawling are invited to join the mat, making it a wholesome, Instagram-worthy mash-up of mindfulness and father-baby bonding. No gear needed — all yoga props are provided.

Then at 12:30pm, you can try Dads & Babies Massage, led by expert certified infant massage instructor Debbie Moriarty of Babies and Berry Buns fame. Over the course of 60 calming minutes, dads learn therapeutic massage techniques to help soothe common baby discomforts like GI issues and fussiness.
Oils and notes are included so you can continue to work this magic every time your baby gets cranky at home.
And what’s a modern-dad meet-up without artisan treats and caffeine?
After the sessions, participants can swap stories while enjoying Debbie’s legendary berry buns with a proper cup of tea or coffee from the GAA Club bar.
The 60 minute classes happen once per month in the Bishopstown GAA Club and cost €15 each or €30 for both with nine spots available. Reserve your spot here.
