Cork’s biggest Sober Boogie Bingo party is all the craic with none of the hangover

Planning on extending Dry January into February?
If you’re lining up activities to keep you busy, Sunbeam Bingo in Ballyvolane is hosting what it is confidently calling Cork’s Biggest Sober Boogie Bingo on Saturday, February 7th, a zero-alcohol, full-energy night out that swaps hangovers for disco balls and replaces pints with pure, unfiltered craic.
Brought to Cork by the team behind a sell-out UK and Ireland tour, this is not your granny’s bingo night. Expect DJs dropping wall-to-wall bangers, dance-offs, spontaneous karaoke and chaotic rounds of music bingo. There are prizes on every game and giveaways throughout the night.
Tickets are €20 and include a full bingo book and dabber, along with what organisers promise is “a proper Saturday night you’ll actually remember on Sunday”.
It’s strictly over-18s, firmly alcohol-free, and leaning hard into the idea that a great night out doesn’t need a bar tab to back it up.

Seating is shared, with tables of four to ten, meaning you’ll likely leave having made at least a few new friends. Doors open at 7pm, things kick off at 8pm, and it all wraps up by 11pm.
In a month where many are rethinking their relationship with drink, this might prove that sober doesn’t have to mean boring.
You can grab a €20 ticket now over here.
