Here’s some good news for job seekers.

If a summer spent working in the swish surrounds of the gorgeous Castlemartyr Hotel in East Cork sounds like something you’d enjoy, dig out your CV quick.

The resort just announced it is planning a recruitment drive for 80 full-time and seasonal team members in the coming weeks, “in anticipation of a strong summer 2021 and beyond”.

Already one of the area’s biggest employers, the hotel will be hiring in a number of key areas, with the primary focus being on kitchen, food & beverage, spa and health club recruitment.

The new hires will bring the total number of staff employed at the hotel to 250.

“We are delighted to be in a position to take on a number of new team members in key positions within the resort,” said General Manager, Brendan Comerford.

“We are exceptionally proud of our team and our ties with the local area, and we greatly look forward to a strong reopening after what has been a challenging 12 months for everyone, particularly businesses in the hospitality sector.
