Cork City Fire Brigade have shared a heatwave warning EVERYBODY should read

We know; all you want to think about now is where you’re getting your next Tangle Twister.
However, extreme weather conditions bring new dangers, and Cork City Fire Brigade is asking Cork householder to give a little thought to some safety precautions as we enjoy the heatwave.
Sharing some advice from their colleagues at Dublin Fire Brigade on Twitter, Cork Fire Brigade reminded followers that mirrors, crystals and glasses left on windowsills can cause fires if the sun is reflected onto a flammable surface.
Aerosol cans can explode if left in the heat too, so check your bedrooms and your car for those and move them to a cooler spot in the shade.
To make their hectic schedules even busier, Cork City Fire Brigade have been attending more gorse and grass fires than usual.
Another sunny day ?☀ ➡ Another night/day of Gorse and Grass Fires ??
One of our appliances is showing temperatures at 39degrees….. We might get that checked though ?#cork #fire pic.twitter.com/SS55N2VCSx
