Candy Warhol’s new ‘Friends of Dorothy’ podcast has some major star guests

The second half of the series launches today.
And if you haven’t added the Friends of Dorothy podcast to your must-listen list yet, now would be a good day to rectify the situation.
Hosted by Cork queen Candy Warhol (star of Comedy Central’s Dragony Aunts and Mockie Ah) and Galway’s Kiki St Clair, Friends Of Dorothy was launched in August ‘to celebrate pride in a time when physical pride celebrations were not possible’.
“We wanted to connect with LGBTQ+ icons and allies about their lives, careers, connection to our wonderful community and how they thought we could all do better as allies.” Candy told us.
“In its first month, we spoke to a sparkling set of guests including Maeve Higgins, Peppermint (Rupaul’s Drag Race), Allie X, Alaska (Rupaul’s Drag Race Winner) Saara Aalto, Rebecca Black and Irish national treasure Marian Keyes.
A brand new episode of #friendsofdorothypod with the incredible, inspiring & hilarious @Peppermint247 is out now!

“The podcast has also been climbing the Apple Podcast charts with regular appearances in the top 20 here in Ireland and Top 40 Arts & Culture appearances in the UK, Finland, Australia and is now climbing elsewhere.”
The second half of the season launches today with a candid 90-minute chat with actress and activist Rose McGowan (“She chats about everything from the events of recent years and reveals exclusive truths plus fashion, music and wig collections, of course.”)
Over the coming weeks, Friends of Dorothy will be chatting to The Veronicas, Sandra Bernhard (Pose, American Horror Story), Mara Wilson (Matilda) and Peaches, to name but a few celeb guests.
More episodes are released weekly so visit friendsofdorothypod.com for the latest.
