This is when you can take a FREE walking tour of Cork

If a tour of our beautiful city is on the top of your bucket list for 2018, this is your chance to tick it off before the end of January.
Architectural historian Tom Spalding will be uncovering Cork’s secrets with a free tour on Saturday, January 13th – and everyone’s welcome to join the adventure.
Don’t worry if you’re a walking tour newbie; the whole thing only lasts one hour so it’s a brilliant way to dip a toe into local history while enjoying some fresh air, meeting new people and getting some exercise.
The event runs in conjunction with UNDER THE GOLDIE FISH: Views of Cork from the Collection, the exhibition currently displayed in the Crawford Art Gallery’s top floor Modern Galleries.
Back by popular demand, the tour will begin at the Crawford on Emmet Place and will end at Elizabeth Fort on Barrack Street, taking in the Coal Quay and Grand Parade.
Walkers are asked to wear comfortable footwear and weather appropriate clothing.
The event is free but places are limited and conditional to prior booking. Call Anne or Emma at 021 4907857 / 021 4907862 to secure your place.
