This evening Rooftop Bus Tour teams history with pizza AND a pint of local beer

This is our kinda’ history tour.
On Friday, August 15th (7pm), curious foodies will be boarding a double-decker bus for an evening of local lore, food and fun as part of Cork on a Fork Festival.
The trip, which begins at 7.30pm, will allow participants to experience Cork’s rich food heritage from a stunning rooftop vantage point with an exclusive evening Cork City Sightseeing Tour.
The fascinating history of Cork’s culinary traditions will be presented by renowned UCC food and culinary historian Regina Sexton.

The evening concludes with a short walking tour of the Coal Quay (Cornmarket Street), which has long been famous for its street traders.
To top it all off you’ll conclude your epic journey with a pizza and a pint of craft beer at the esteemed Rising Sons Micro Brewery.
So ditch the Netflix, put on your most comfortable walking shoes (and maybe something stretchy around the waist), and get ready to experience Cork’s food heritage like never before. This isn’t just a tour; it’s an education, a history lesson, and a darn good night out.
Ticket are €45 including the tour, pizza and a pint, and available now here.
