If you’re bored of cooking the same old stews and casseroles every week, this might be the ideal fix: a Cork chef has compiled all his best recipes into a lovely new cookbook… and all the proceeds are going to Marymount.
Gary Burke, Executive Chef at Rochestown Park Hotel, will be launching Raising Dough for Marymount at a party at the hotel on Thursday, October 10th, 2019.

Gary aims to raise a whopping €30k in Rochestown Park Hotel’s 30th year for the Marymount Hospice.

A decent recipe collection is your best pal on those cold, miserable days ahead and this book is packed with recipes for every occasion, from Blackened Turkey Tacos for a fun Tuesday dinner to Chocolate Nests with Popping Candy for dinner parties and kids’ birthday parties.
Retailing at €20, the cookbook will be available to buy on the night at the Rochestown and is currently in stock at Scally’s in Blackrock if you’d like to get your hands on it early, with copies also available in Marymount and select outlets across Cork.
Gary will be signing books for fans and serving up dishes from the book from 6pm on the night (it’s free to go along but you must register for your ticket here) and there’ll be prizes and giveaways on the night too.
