Bring a deckchair for hot chocolate and live music at this lively Christmas Market

Kick back and stay awhile.
That’s the festive message from the folks behind the Fermoy Christmas Market, set to be held in Richmond House this weekend.
With live music scheduled on both dates, Friday, December 10th (6pm-9.30pm) and Saturday, December 11th, 2021 (10am to 2pm), visitors are invited to bring their own deckchairs and get comfy while enjoying all the stallholders have to offer.
“This is no ordinary market!” say the organisers.
“From choirs to bands to flute quartets, there will be musical wizardry at play in Fermoy this weekend.
“And once you check off that Christmas shopping list from our amazing offering of handmade gifts, crafts and edible delights, you can savour the atmosphere with some warm food and beverage.”

If you’re gift-hunting this weekend, the Christmas market will feature a host of local artisans, including Rick Fontes, the master craftsman behind Fox Fire Forge Crafts.
From pizza, to dahl and chestnut sausage rolls, fresh coffee to mulled wine and Christmas cookies, the food line-up looks tasty too.
Word has it they may even have a visit from a very special man in a very fine red suit.
