Ballincollig’s Winter Music Festival includes two lovely concerts just for kids

The headline act has won a clutch of Grammys.
And multi-instrumentalist Tim O’Brien will join a host of top-notch performers at The White Horse next week when he duets with his wife Jan Fabricius at the Ballincollig Winter Music Festival.
Running from January 24th to January 29th, 2023 the line-up features an eclectic mix of happenings with headline artists including Dirk and Amelia Powel, I Draw Slow, North Cregg, Kevin Burke and The Goodman Trio.

“Throughout the festival, you will also have the opportunity to catch various other talented artists including Ceilí Allstars, Conal Creedon, Diarmuid Ó Meachair, Nic Gareiss, Ultan O’Brien, and Yonder Boys,” said White Horse marketing manager Miriam Dillon.
“Some of these will be joining the daily trad sessions in the main bar at The White Horse. These sessions are marvellous free entertainment open for all to attend.”
The busy schedule includes a selection of workshops, short films, and Music in the Community. For the younger fans, there are two adorable children’s concerts on Sunday, January 29th.
