Artist Emma O’Hara is teaching a Saturday printmaking masterclass

Here’s a worthy way to spend a Saturday morning.
Artist and photographer Emma O’Hara is leading a masterclass in print making at The Glucksman on Saturday, October 26th, 2019, drawing inspiration from the gallery’s current exhibition Circadian Rhythms.
In her own work, the Wexford-born, Cork-based printmaker takes inspiration from everyday encounters with landscape, architecture and the urban environment (you can check out her recent pieces here).
The Glucksman Masterclass, which runs from 10am -1pm in collaboration with Cork Printmakers, will provide participants with guided hands-on practice in screen printing, with plenty of time to practice the processes of coating, exposing, printing and editioning your own artwork.
No experience is required and all materials are provided. By the end of the class, you’ll be ready to set up a space and start creating your own print collections – all you need to do is book your ticket, €50pp, here.
If you enjoy the Glucksman event, you can sign up for a more intense four-week course, running over a series of evenings from 7pm-10pm in November and December at Cork Printmakers on Wandesford Quay, on Eventbrite here.
