Animal experts from all over the world are en route to Cork for VetCon 2022

Are you keen to learn from some of the brightest minds in veterinary medicine?
Established vets, vet nurses and students will be flocking to Cork’s luxury Fota Island Resort in April for VetCon 2022, the largest industry event in Ireland.
The two-day programme combines a host of incredible learning opportunities with focus sessions, tutorials, fun-filled networking events and plenty of time to relax and enjoy the five-star resort.
Broadcaster, entrepreneur and politician Ivan Yates will chair the VetCon Debate on Thursday morning, with panellists including the Dean of UCD School of Veterinary Medicine Professor Michael Doherty, President of the Veterinary Council of Ireland Vivienne Duggan and President of Veterinary Ireland Joe Collins in the hot seat.
Caring for animals is taxing work and Ireland’s most recognised personal trainer Karl Henry will be on hand to advise delegates on how to care for their own health and wellbeing too.

Karl will deliver useful, practical and engaging lectures to all delegates on both days of the conference. You can also meet him at the indoor cycling challenge to help raise funds for the Irish Veterinary Benevolent Fund.
For golf enthusiasts, Fota Island Resort is a player’s paradise and there’s a wonderful opportunity to network at the VetCon 2022 Golf Tournament. Prizes for the winning teams include tickets to the sold-out JP McManus Pro-Am in Adare Manor and all players will enjoy a barbecue with refreshments and live music at a party in the Clubhouse afterwards.
